To ensure your orders are protected during transit, Galaxy Communication Enterprise (200203046523) offers optional shipping insurance plans. These plans provide financial protection in the event of loss or damage to your parcel while in transit. By purchasing a shipping insurance plan, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Insurance Provider
All shipping insurance services are underwritten and handled by DHL, our official logistics and shipping partner. DHL is responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and approval of all claims related to insured shipments.
2. Insurance Plans and Rates
Silver Plan – 1.25% of Cart Total
The Silver Plan offers essential coverage at a low rate of 1.25% of your cart total. It provides protection for up to 50% of your total item value in the event of loss or damage during transit. This plan is ideal for customers seeking basic and affordable coverage.
Gold Plan – 1.75% of Cart Total
The Gold Plan provides enhanced protection at 1.75% of your cart total, covering up to 70% of your total item value. This plan offers a balanced option between cost and protection, ensuring greater peace of mind for valuable shipments.
Diamond Plan – 2.5% of Cart Total
The Diamond Plan provides comprehensive coverage, protecting your parcel for 100% of its value, up to a maximum of RM5,500.
Platinum Plan – Fixed Rate RM137.50
The Platinum Plan provides maximum protection for your shipment at a fixed rate of RM137.50, regardless of your cart total.
This plan offers 100% coverage of your item value up to RM5,500, following DHL’s maximum claim policy.

Diamond Plan – 2.5% of Cart Total
The Diamond Plan provides comprehensive coverage, protecting your parcel for 100% of its value, up to a maximum of RM5,500.
- For cart totals below RM5,500, the insurance fee is 2.5% of your cart total.
- For cart totals exceeding RM5,500, the insurance fee is capped at RM137.50 (2.5% of RM5,500).
- The maximum claimable amount under this plan is RM5,500, as per DHL’s coverage limit.
Platinum Plan – Fixed Rate RM137.50
The Platinum Plan provides maximum protection for your shipment at a fixed rate of RM137.50, regardless of your cart total.
This plan offers 100% coverage of your item value up to RM5,500, following DHL’s maximum claim policy.
3. Coverage and Limitations
Shipping insurance covers loss or damage of your parcel during transit, as determined by the courier or shipping partner.
The maximum compensation amount for all plans is RM5,500, even if your cart total exceeds that value.

- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.
- Unauthorized parcel acceptance or theft after successful delivery.
- Damage caused by improper packaging, misuse, or handling after delivery.
- Natural disasters or circumstances beyond the courier’s control.
4. Claim Procedure
If your parcel is lost or damaged, you must notify us within 3 working days of receiving (or failing to receive) your parcel.
Please provide supporting documents such as the order number, photos of the damaged item, and DHL tracking information.
Once verified, Galaxy Communication Enterprise will submit the claim to DHL for review and compensation processing according to DHL’s claim policies.
The final compensation amount will depend on DHL’s investigation and assessment results.

The shipping insurance fee is non-refundable once the order has been processed.
Choosing a higher-tier plan (Gold, Diamond, or Platinum) increases your potential protection level but does not extend coverage beyond the RM5,500 maximum claim limit set by DHL.
Galaxy Communication Enterprise acts only as an intermediary between the customer and DHL for insurance purposes.
Galaxy Communication Enterprise reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
