This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which products purchased from us are covered by warranty, as well as the procedures for claiming warranty service.
1. Warranty Coverage
All products sold by Galaxy Communication Enterprise come with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms stated below. The duration of the warranty period depends on the product category and may vary between new, used, or refurbished items.
- New Devices: Typically covered by a manufacturer’s warranty ranging from 6 to 24 months, depending on the brand and product type.
- Used or Refurbished Devices: Covered by our in-house limited warranty, usually between 1 to 3 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the receipt or invoice.
- Accessories: Selected accessories may come with a 7-day to 1-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty covers only hardware defects that occur under normal usage conditions and does not extend to software, data loss, or user-inflicted damage.
2. Exclusions and Limitations
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, drops, misuse, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Water or liquid damage, unless the device is certified water-resistant by the manufacturer.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents), or battery degradation due to normal use.
- Damage resulting from use of non-original accessories or improper voltage/power supply.
- Software issues, viruses, or data corruption.
- Products with tampered, missing, or altered serial numbers, IMEI labels, or warranty stickers.
3. Proof of Purchase
A valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required for all warranty claims. Warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase indicated on the receipt. Without proof of purchase, Galaxy Communication Enterprise reserves the right to deny warranty service.
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
If you believe your product is defective and covered under warranty, please follow these steps:

- Return/Inspection – You may be asked to bring or ship the product to our nearest branch in Johor Bahru for inspection. The cost of shipping (if applicable) may be borne by the customer.
- Repair or Replacement – If the product is found to be defective under warranty, we will repair or replace it at our discretion, using new, refurbished, or equivalent components.
Please note that warranty claim processing time may vary depending on parts availability and manufacturer policies.
5. Third-Party Manufacturer Warranty
Some products are covered directly by the manufacturer’s warranty. In such cases, customers may be required to contact the manufacturer or authorized service center for warranty service. Galaxy Communication Enterprise will assist in providing guidance or documentation when needed.
6. Data Backup Responsibility
Before sending your device for warranty service, please back up all important data. Repair or replacement processes may involve data loss, and Galaxy Communication Enterprise shall not be responsible for loss of data, files, or applications.
7. Limitation of Liability
Galaxy Communication Enterprise’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product, as determined at our sole discretion. We shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product defects or delays in service.
8. Amendment of Warranty Terms
Galaxy Communication Enterprise reserves the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
